Sainz has to manage pressure of frontrunning F1 car

The Spaniard crashed in Q2 for the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix at Imola getting now established a time that was superior enough for second in the session, powering Max Verstappen.

“Certainly you need to adapt. I think that he has finished a pair of faults, which are significant. But yet, I think that he is bettering himself, he is going more quickly and quicker.

“If I search yesterday, when he was driving, he was definitely driving quickly. A shame, for the reason that when he went off, I feel it was not the appropriate time to press to the limitations. He is familiar with very very well.

Sainz has signed a new contract with Ferrari and has Binotto’s total self-confidence

Ferrari declared an extended deal with Sainz final week, and Binotto believes that the steady line-up right until 2024 provides evident rewards.

“Why two additional yrs? I consider for the reason that to start with, we are very happy with him, the way that he has built-in with the team, the way that he is executing,” he stated.
